Not Much

I haven't posted much this week. I just don't really have that much to say which is............odd. I always have something to say. Maybe I just haven't adjusted to having people who actually listen (well, read).

The house is coming along just fine. A few minor crisis but everything is working out. Budget looks good which really helps everything else look good. We're not far from finishing now, we'll pick floors and appliances soon. So any recommendations on dishwashers, washers and dryers, refrigerators, cook tops, etc let me know. Especially if you have one you hate!

I'll try to get some pictures this afternoon, they are putting in the wood beams today and I am anxious to see them. They are also supposed to start sheet rocking but they were supposed to do that 2 days ago, so we'll see.

See? Not much to say. Hope you are having a good week and maybe inspiration will strike me with a great post tomorrow!

THERE'S YOUR BLOG!!! I had wondered what happened to you! Now, I have 3 months worth of posts to catch up on. I'll comment more as I read through them!

Okay, so I'm going to comment as I read previous posts--this could get old to you soon...sorry!

I SO agree with you on the vacation thing. If Jeff and I were told we could only vacation at Playa del Carmen for the rest of our lives we would be fine with it. It's a short flight, wonderful beaches, and we have never had a bad time there. And, as far as family vacations, I have to admit--Landry had just as much fun if not more at the (cheap) cabin we stayed in at Oklahoma then the fortune we spent going to Florida earlier this summer. And, trust me, hauling my fifths diseased 14 month old and all of her loot across the country on an airplane was NOT R&R!!!

Ok, last comment. First of all, Duncan and Caroline are so darn precious, but really? Caroline's 10?!?!? No way!

I remember when she was born and I came to see y'all at the hospital like 4 seconds after she was born. And I stayed, and stayed, and stayed, and stayed. Of course, I hadn't had a child of my own yet (by c-setion!), so I didn't know what a pain that was! I still have a few pics of Caroline that you sent me when she was a baby--I NEVER throw pictures away! Hard to believe she is 10...er, pre-teen I mean!
